Senior Product & Growth Officer

The Senior Product & Growth Officer is responsible for leading the development, optimization, and market expansion of the company’s digital applications and platforms.

This role combines product leadership with growth strategy to ensure the app is technically sound, commercially viable, and positioned effectively in the market.

1- Product Strategy & Development

  • Define and maintain the product roadmap
  • Translate business vision into functional specifications
  • Oversee internal/external developers
  • Approve UX/UI design direction
  • Ensure scalability, security, and performance
  • Conduct product testing and feature validation
  • Improve user experience based on feedback

Owns the product from concept to optimization.

2- Developer & Technical Oversight

  • Manage daily coordination with development teams
  • Monitor sprint timelines and milestones
  • Evaluate technical solutions before implementation
  • Ensure system integrations (payments, KYC, APIs) function properly
  • Report technical risks and delays to management
  • Approve releases and updates

Controls execution quality.

3- Growth Strategy & Market Expansion

  • Develop user acquisition strategy
  • Design launch and expansion plans
  • Optimize onboarding and conversion funnels
  • Monitor user behavior and engagement metrics
  • Identify revenue optimization opportunities
  • Analyze competitor positioning

Ensures the app grows — not just exists.

4- Performance & Analytics

  • Define KPIs for product and growth
  • Monitor CAC, retention rate, active users
  • Deliver monthly performance reports
  • Recommend pivots when required

5- Cross-Department Coordination

  • Work with Marketing & Media department
  • Align product features with commercial strategy
  • Coordinate with compliance if fintech features are included

Required Qualifications

Senior Product & Growth Officer

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, or related field
  • MBA or relevant postgraduate qualification is preferred (not mandatory)

Experience

  • Minimum 7–10 years of experience in:
  • Product management
  • Digital platforms
  • Fintech / investment / trading apps (strongly preferred)

  • Proven experience launching at least one successful digital product or application
  • Experience managing developers (in-house or outsourced teams)
  • Demonstrated experience in growth strategy and digital scaling

Technical Knowledge

Must understand (even if not coding personally):

  • Mobile & web app development cycles
  • Agile / Scrum methodologies
  • UX/UI principles
  • API integrations
  • Payment gateway integration
  • KYC / onboarding systems (if fintech)
  • Analytics tools (Google Analytics, Mixpanel, etc.)

Not required to code — but must be technically literate.

Growth & Commercial Skills

  • Experience building user acquisition funnels
  • Understanding of CAC, LTV, retention metrics
  • Experience in performance-driven growth strategy
  • Data-driven decision-making ability

Leadership & Management

  • Experience managing cross-functional teams
  • Strong vendor management skills
  • Ability to align product with business goals
  • Strategic thinking + execution discipline

Highly Preferred

  • Experience in fintech, trading, wealth management, or investment platforms
  • Understanding of AML/KYC onboarding
  • Experience with digital wallets or custody systems
  • Knowledge of financial product structuring
