Senior Product Leader (Platform Owner)

Role Summary

We are now seeking a Senior Product Leader to take full end-to-end ownership of a digital software platform, from product vision to engineering execution to market delivery. A bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field. At least 10+ years of experience in building and scaling digital platforms is considered equally valuable.
This is a hands-on leadership role. The successful candidate has personally built, launched, and scaled real products, and brings proven judgment to accelerate execution while avoiding unnecessary reinvention.

You will work on-site in Dubai, embedded with the engineering and design team, and act as an accountable owner for the platform's success.

Key Responsibilities

Product Ownership

• Own the product vision, roadmap, and priorities for the software platform
• Translate business objectives into clear, build-ready product requirements
• Lead feature definition, scope decisions, and trade-offs based on real user and market needs

Ensure a high-quality, intuitive user experience in close collaboration with UX/UI

Engineering Leadership

• Own and guide platform architecture, technical direction, and delivery standards
• Lead and challenge engineering decisions related to:
• Performance
• Security
• Scalability
• Reliability
• Ensure best practices in system design, code quality, and release management

Work hands-on with developers to unblock issues and accelerate delivery

Execution & Delivery

• Be accountable for shipping production-ready features on time
• Drive day-to-day execution with a strong focus on outcomes, not activity
• Identify and eliminate bottlenecks in product and engineering workflows
• Apply proven patterns and approaches to avoid rebuilding what already exists
• Provide clear, confident updates on progress, risks, and decisions
• Align platform delivery with broader company strategy and governance

Technical Competencies
The Senior Product Leader is expected to be technically fluent and capable of owning platform-level decisions, even if not writing production code daily. Solid grasp of backend systems, including API design (REST / GraphQL)

Working knowledge of frontend application architecture:

• Web and/or mobile application structure
• Performance and usability considerations

Experience with cloud-based platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure):

• Scalability, reliability, and cost awareness

Familiarity with:

• CI/CD pipelines
• Release management and deployment strategies

Strong awareness of security best practices, including:

• Data protection and privacy
• Secure system design and threat mitigation

Ability to:

• Review technical designs and challenge assumptions
• Identify over-engineering vs necessary complexity

Experience acting as an AI Product Leader/ AI Platform Owner, responsible for:

• Defining AI-powered features and workflows
• Translating business problems into AI-driven product solutions

Strong understanding of applied AI concepts, including:

• Machine learning fundamentals
• Generative AI and LLM-based systems
• Recommendation, matching, or decision-support systems (where applicable)

Ability to:

• Decide when AI adds value vs when simple logic is sufficient

Experience integrating AI capabilities into production platforms, such as:

• Third-party AI APIs
• In-house or external ML services

Pay: From AED20,000.00 per month
