Allumira is looking for a Senior Product Manager to own the strategic lifecycle management of our primary aluminum product portfolio. This role is responsible for developing product strategy, driving market positioning, and working cross-functionally to align innovation and sustainability initiatives with customer needs and market demands. The position reports to the Director of Marketing or Commercial Director.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute the global product strategy for assigned segments of the primary aluminum portfolio (e.g., foundry alloys, extrusion billets, rolling slabs).
  • Conduct market analysis, competitive intelligence, and customer research to identify trends, opportunities, and threats within target industries.
  • Define product specifications, value propositions, and pricing strategies in collaboration with Sales and Finance teams.
  • Manage the product roadmap, from innovation through to commercialization, including the introduction of new, sustainable alloys.
  • Collaborate closely with R&D, Technology, and Production teams to translate market needs into new product development requirements.
  • Create and maintain technical and commercial product documentation, including datasheets and application guides.
  • Provide product expertise and training to the global sales and marketing teams.
  • Analyze product line performance (P&L, volume, profitability) and recommend adjustments to strategy or product mix.
  • Support key customer engagements and major tenders with strategic product positioning and technical guidance.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Metallurgical Engineering, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, or a related field. An MBA is a strong advantage.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in product management, technical marketing, or business development, specifically within the primary metals, aluminum, or advanced materials industry.
  • Deep technical understanding of aluminum production, alloy specifications, properties, and downstream applications (e.g., automotive, aerospace, packaging, construction).
  • Proven track record of managing a B2B industrial product portfolio and successfully launching new products or grades.
  • Strong commercial and financial acumen, with experience in pricing strategy and P&L analysis.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and project management skills.
  • Ability to work effectively across functions (Sales, R&D, Operations) and influence without direct authority.
  • Willingness to travel internationally as required.
  • Fluency in English is required; additional languages are a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED10,000.00 - AED14,000.00 per month
