We're looking for a Senior Product Manager of Pharmacy who is passionate about solving complex pharmacy technology challenges and shaping the future of healthcare software. This role will own the strategy, roadmap, and delivery of pharmacy-facing technology solutions, including pharmacy management systems, packaging software, facility reporting platforms, and critical system integrations. The ideal candidate combines strong product management expertise with deep knowledge of pharmacy operations, healthcare interoperability standards, and enterprise software development. Key Responsibilities:
Pharmacy Software Strategy & Roadmap
-
Own the multi-year product roadmap for pharmacy packaging, pharmacy management, and facility reporting and engagement software, balancing near-term operational priorities with long-term platform investment.

Define the integration strategy for pharmacy system interoperability, establishing standards-based approaches using NCPDP, HL7, and FHIR to connect Clarest’s products with the broader pharmacy technology ecosystem.

Drive build-vs-buy-vs-partner decisions for pharmacy technology components, conducting market assessments and aligning recommendations with enterprise architecture and commercial strategy.

Translate complex pharmacy operational workflows — dispensing, packaging, inventory management, and facility reporting — into precise, actionable product requirements that engineering teams can execute against with confidence.

Establish product success metrics and KPIs tied to pharmacy operational outcomes, facility adoption, and integration reliability, and track progress against these targets with rigor.
Integration Architecture & Technical Direction

Partner with Data Engineering and Clinical Informatics to design data pipelines that surface actionable pharmacy insights within facility-facing reporting and engagement tools.

Establish and enforce technical standards for pharmacy data exchange, including drug data formats, NDC handling, and medication event messaging across integrated platforms.

Champion interoperability across the pharmacy ecosystem, ensuring Clarest’s software connects reliably to the full range of pharmacy management and packaging systems in use across the customer base.

Evaluate emerging integration standards and vendor capabilities, andadvise the SVP of Product on opportunities to accelerate platform connectivity and reduce integration overhead.
Cross-Functional Partnership

Set priorities for engineering sprint planning and QA cycles, ensuring pharmacy software features are delivered with clinical accuracy, operational correctness, and regulatory rigor.

Partner with Clinical Informatics to validate that product requirements align with clinical workflows, formulary management practices, and applicable regulatory standards.

Collaborate with commercial and implementation teams to capture pharmacy customer feedback, translate market needs into the product backlog, and support pre-sales technical conversations and customer onboarding.

Align with Data Engineering on data model decisions that support facility reporting, engagement analytics, and downstream clinical data uses across the platform.
Stakeholder Engagement & Product Delivery

Lead discovery, requirements gathering, and validation sessions with pharmacy operators, facility directors, and clinical stakeholders to ensure product direction is grounded in real operational needs.

Manage the product backlog with discipline — maintaining clarity of prioritization, acceptance criteria, and release sequencing across concurrent pharmacy software workstreams.

Drive go-to-market readiness for pharmacy product releases, including internal enablement, customer-facing documentation, and deployment coordination with implementation and operations teams.

Establish a structured feedback loop with facility users and pharmacy operations teams to continuously refine product performance, integration reliability, and reporting utility.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Pharmacy, Healthcare Administration, or a related fieldrequired;Master'sdegree in a relevant discipline or PharmD preferred

5+ years of product management experience within healthcare technology environments
-
Proven experience owning and delivering software products in a regulated healthcare setting
-
Direct experience supporting pharmacy operations, including dispensing, packaging, medication management, or related workflows
-
Hands-on experience with healthcare interoperability standards such as NCPDP, HL7, and/or FHIR
-
Experience defining product strategy, managing roadmaps, and leading products through the full development lifecycle

Experience collaborating closely with Software Engineering, QA, Data Engineering, Clinical Informatics, and business stakeholders
-
Experience gathering customer requirements and translating operational needs into scalable software solutions

Experience managing SaaS, platform-based, or enterprise software products preferred

Experience supporting large healthcare organizations, pharmacy providers, payers, or long-term care customers preferred

Experience working within long-term care, specialty pharmacy, managed care pharmacy, or related healthcare environments preferred
Skills & Abilities:

Deep understanding of pharmacy workflows, including dispensing, packaging, inventory management, medication management, and facility reporting

Strong knowledge of pharmacy transaction and data standards, including NCPDP SCRIPT, D.0, B1 claims, HL7, and FHIR

Experience integrating with pharmacy management systems and pharmacy packaging platforms

Proficiencydefining and managing API-based integrations and healthcare data exchange solutions

Strong product management fundamentals, including roadmap development, backlog prioritization, user story creation, acceptance criteria development, and release planning

Ability to evaluate and drive build-versus-buy decisions while balancing technical, operational, and business considerations

Experience leading cross-functional initiatives across Product, Engineering, Clinical Informatics, QA, and Operations teams

Familiarity with healthcare analytics, reporting platforms, and operational performance metrics

Strong understanding of healthcare technology compliance, data governance, and regulatory requirements

Exceptional communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear business outcomes for customers, stakeholders, and executive leadership
