Overview

Microsoft’s Global Marketing Engines & Experiences (GMEE) organization is transforming marketing at Microsoft by driving programs that engage customers personally and deliver measurable business outcomes. Within GMEE, eCommerce is foundational for acquiring and building long-term customer relationships at scale. This Senior Product Marketing Manager, Commercial eCommerce role will be responsible for the customer experience strategy for all eCommerce customers throughout the lifecycle.

In this role, you will lead customer and industry insights, strategic planning and programs, and customer journey optimizations—designed to maximize the health and longevity of eCommerce customers. You’ll drive strategic planning and execution, leveraging data-driven insights, and lead cross-functional team collaboration to unlock transformative onboarding experiences for eCommerce customers. You’ll partner across marketing, product marketing, finance, and engineering to define high-impact opportunities, build business cases, and align investments that deliver customer activation and engagement.

Qualifications

Required/minimum qualifications
  • Master's Degree in in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 3+ years experience in business OR Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 5+ years experience in business OR equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years experience in product marketing, business strategy, or eCommerce growth roles, ideally within technology or SaaS environments.
  • 5+ years experience in analytical skills, with ability to translate data and telemetry insights into compelling business cases and investment narratives.
  • 5+ years experience cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder management skills, with ability to influence others and drive alignment.
  • 5+ years experience managing successful customer programs and initiatives.
Additional or preferred qualifications
  • Master's Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 6+ years experience in business OR Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 8+ years experience in business OR equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years experience with marketing AI products
Product Marketing IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $106,400 - $203,600 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $137,600 - $222,600 per year.
