Senior Product Marketing Specialist

The Senior Product Marketing Specialist will implement effective marketing communications to highlight the features and benefits of JEOL products to customers. The successful candidate will interface with the sales and marketing team to produce communications to enhance the JEOL brand.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Develop and produce communications to enhance JEOL’s brand and emphasize product capabilities
• Participate in new product launches
• Work with cross-functional team (Sales, product management, engineering) to implement effective marketing communications to drive performance
• Create content and sales support material to post on social media, create promotional flyers, develop targeted email campaigns, and implement general product awareness initiatives
• Interfaces with and maintains data in Pardot and Salesforce
• Develops a working understanding of the JEOL product line, along with its relevance in the market and the competitive landscape
• Supports the Product Marketing Manager in establishing and evaluating marketing strategies and plans
• Monitors industry-wide trends in digital marketing and stays abreast of new tools and technologies
• Attends tradeshows and scientific conferences

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications or a STEM related discipline
• 3-5 years of product management, eCommerce, business development, Marketing, Communications, or digital marketing experience, preferably with scientific/industrial products company or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Experience managing small projects from beginning to end within an established framework
• Experience setting project timelines and ensuring projects are completed by deadline
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office is required
• Experience with Salesforce/Pardot preferred
• Graphic design experience (i.e. Photoshop Systems, Illustrator, Corel Draw, In-Design, Quark) is preferred. Experience/knowledge of e-design principles preferred
• Up to 10% travel to tradeshows and scientific conferences is required

Salary Minimum: $80,000 - Salary Maximum $95,000. The base range above represents the low and high end of the JEOL salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance.
