We are looking for a  Product Owner  who combines strategic vision with strong technical understanding — someone who can connect business goals to engineering reality and lead high-performing teams toward meaningful outcomes.

Your Role

As a Product Owner at Bold, you will define, prioritize, and deliver product initiatives across software systems that range from cloud-based backends to AI-driven streaming platforms. You will work closely with architects, developers, and designers to translate customer needs into clear product goals and technical deliverables. This role requires a unique blend of  strategic product thinking, system understanding, and hands-on collaboration .

What You’ll Do

• Define and communicate the  product vision , strategy, and roadmap aligned with company goals.
• Collaborate closely with  engineering, architecture, and design  teams to ensure alignment between business objectives and technical feasibility.
• Manage and prioritize the  product backlogs , ensuring clear user stories, acceptance criteria, and measurable success outcomes.
• Act as the  bridge between customers, stakeholders, and development teams , maintaining transparency and shared understanding.
• Ensure the team delivers  high-quality, testable, and maintainable  software aligned with quality standards and NFRs (performance, scalability, reliability, usability).
• Lead  release planning  and ensure timely delivery through well-managed iterations and sprint goals.
• Analyze metrics, gather user feedback, and continuously optimize features based on data-driven insights.
• Contribute to  innovation and new product ideas , leveraging deep understanding of digital ecosystems.
• Foster a collaborative, ownership-driven culture where product excellence is a shared goal.
• Advocate for innovation, customer value, and long-term product quality.

What We’re Looking For

• 10+ years of experience as a  Product Owner, Product Manager , or  Technical Project Manager  in software or digital product environments.
• Solid understanding of  software architecture and cloud concepts  (APIs, microservices, scalability, NFRs).
• Proven experience with  end-to-end product lifecycles  — from concept and requirements to delivery, testing, and long-term maintenance.
• Strong ability to communicate technical topics effectively with engineers, architects, and non-technical stakeholders.
• Deep familiarity with  Agile/Scrum methodologies  and backlog management tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps, GitLab).
• Customer-centric mindset with the ability to balance  user experience, quality, and business value .
• Excellent problem-solving, prioritization, and analytical skills.
• Strong ownership mentality and ability to lead without formal authority.

Nice to Have

• Experience in  media, streaming, or video-on-demand platforms .
• Familiarity with  AI/ML, data architecture , or  cloud-native solutions (AWS preferred) .
• Knowledge of  test quadrants, V/W models, validation theory , and  quality frameworks .
• Background in  software or systems engineering .
