Qualification: Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech Mechanical

Relevant Experience: Minimum 6 years in Heavy engineering / pressure vessels / boilers

We are looking to onboard a Senior Production Engineer who will understand our company's operational requirements at every step, look after planning and implementing all aspects of shop floor practices and processes, help out with other related areas and carry out all the responsibilities in an efficient manner.

What would you do?

• Independently lead a team of work force in managing workload and day to day operations.
• Execute manufacturing jobs as per shop load
• Coordinate with Internal and External key communications with other teams such as Purchase department for Raw material as per Indent, Stores for Raw material and Incoming material, Design team for Drawings and to solve discrepancy in drawings, QC person for pre-qualification and job related work, to ensure job is delivered as per Quality standards within cost and company policy to achieve daily organizational goals.
• Implement quality systems / production procedures in the organization to reduce rejections, WIP reduction, proper tracking of consumables and to keep inventory under control and ensure zero defect products
• Updating and Monitoring Daily Production Reports (DPR), scheduling of daily targets & utilized manpower on bottleneck operations and offering various stages as per quality plan, daily offering and lining up for NDT
• Checking quality of welding & fabrication processes as per IBR & ASME codes and also controlling welding repairs, distortion and wastage of welding electrodes
• Monitoring safety, on time performance, quality, target monthly invoicing, implementation of lean manufacturing, handle workmen related issues, rework reduction, cycle time reduction
• To provide various training on shop floor, working on scrap reduction, proper utilization of manpower ,material,etc
• Increase Production Efficiency by improving work station layout, by minimizing unwanted material flow/movements by practicing motion study, upgradation of Machines and new technology

What makes you a suitable candidate?

• Knowledge of Engineering Drawings & symbols and NDT Processes. (RT, LPT, VT etc.), Welding technology & heat treatment.(WTS), Boiler manufacturing process of AFBC, Subcritical, Supercritical boiler.
• Basic knowledge of IBR, ASME Sections and Codes.
• Good knowledge of ERP/BAAN System
• Good Communication, Analytical skill & Leadership qualities.
• Good knowledge of MS Office tools (Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹75,000.00 per month
