Senior Professional Services Engineer

Senior Project Engineer:

We're looking for an experienced Senior Project Engineer to join our Professional Services team. In this role, you will independently lead and execute complex technical projects across Aldridge's service portfolio, serve as a trusted escalation point for internal engineers, and represent Aldridge with confidence in client-facing technical conversations. Reporting to the Director of Professional Services, you will operate at the Fluent level within our technical delivery framework deepening technical quality, expanding team capacity, and contributing directly to the knowledge and process standards that elevate our delivery organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver complex technical solutions independently across Aldridge service offerings, including advanced migrations, server builds, network and security deployments, and hybrid and virtualization projects.*

  • Represent Aldridge in client-facing technical conversations, explaining solutions, setting expectations, and resolving escalations with professionalism and technical authority.*

  • Serve as an internal escalation point for Associates and Project Engineers, guiding troubleshooting approaches and solution execution on non-standard issues.*

  • Ensure strict adherence to PSA standards; review and maintain documentation quality across the team, including tickets, time entries, and configuration records.*

  • Contribute to team scalability by authoring and updating SOPs, documenting repeatable solutions, and conducting cross-training sessions.

  • Identify and surface systemic risks or recurring delivery issues to Leads and Architects, with recommended remediation.

  • Mentor Associates and Project Engineers in technical execution, delivery standards, and professional client communication.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or equivalent professional technical experience.

  • 4–6 years of IT project or systems engineering experience; MSP or consulting environment strongly preferred.

  • Demonstrated fluency across multiple technical domains (e.g., Microsoft 365, Windows Server, networking, security, virtualization).

  • Proven ability to deliver complex technical projects independently and manage client-facing escalations effectively.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills; able to represent Aldridge confidently in technical discussions with clients.

  • Experience mentoring and developing junior or mid-level engineers in both technical and professional skills.

  • Relevant industry certifications preferred (e.g., Microsoft, Cisco, VMware, or security-focused credentials).

Hybrid work schedule

  • Optional work from home days are Mondays and Fridays

  • Required in-office days are Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays

Additional Requirements

  • Physical ability to stand, walk or sit for extended periods

  • Must be comfortable with periodically lifting 25 pounds
