Senior Program Officer – Psychosocial Health

Reporting To: Director, Psychosocial Wellbeing Center (PSWC)

About the Organization

· KITCC is a leading non-profit providing comprehensive care to over 700 children and adolescents with Thalassaemia Major.

· The Psychosocial Wellbeing Center (PSWC) integrates psychosocial care into chronic disease management.

· The center operates under the Integrated Developmental Psychosocial Chronic Care (IDPCC) Model.

Position Overview

· Support the Director in implementing and strengthening psychosocial programs.

· Work at the intersection of public health, mental health, and pediatric care.

· Deliver hands-on interventions while contributing to program development.

Key Responsibilities

· Support implementation of the IDPCC Model.

· Design and deliver structured psychosocial interventions.

· Facilitate group sessions, play-based activities, and therapeutic engagements.

· Provide psychosocial support to children, adolescents, and caregivers.

· Collaborate with medical teams for integrated care.

· Assist in daily PSWC operations.

· Maintain documentation and track psychosocial outcomes.

Eligibility Criteria

· Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Psychology, Public Health, Social Work or related field.

· Minimum 2 years experience with chronic illness populations or children/adolescents.

· Experience in NGO or public health settings preferred.
