Senior Project Buyer

We are looking for a " Senior Project Buyer " who will take part in strategic purchasing processes for projects for our global leading partner in the automotive industry

Job Description:

• Conduct market analysis to identify the most suitable suppliers based on Quality, Cost, Delivery, and Sustainability (QCDS) criteria,
• Manage Request for Information (RFI) and Request for Quotation (RFQ) processes end-to-end,
• Analyze and benchmark supplier quotations from both technical and commercial perspectives and provide structured recommendations to management,
• Lead price negotiations, prepare contractual terms and conditions, and monitor supplier performance during mass production,
• Drive cost reduction initiatives (Value Analysis / Value Engineering – VA/VE) in close collaboration with suppliers,
• Perform part and tooling cost analysis and support supplier engagement during design changes to optimize total cost,
• Translate engineering and sales requirements into structured purchasing and sourcing projects,
• Develop sourcing and capacity plans aligned with project timelines and milestones,
• Represent the purchasing function in project meetings and ensure accurate reporting of purchasing activities,
• Monitor and follow up supplier quality gates during new project development and industrialization phases.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Supply Chain, or a related field,
• 5–8 years of experience in purchasing, sourcing, supply chain, or project-based roles within an industrial or manufacturing environment
• Fluent in English (both written and spoken),
• Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making skills with a structured approach to problem solving,
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to interact effectively with technical teams, management, and suppliers.
