Senior Project Engineer

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Project Engineer to join our dynamic team in Sharjah. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in project management within the glass and aluminum industry or a closely related sector. This role involves overseeing project timelines, coordinating between internal teams and external clients, managing resources, and ensuring successful delivery of projects in line with company standards.

Key Responsibilities:

- Collaborate with clients, architects, and engineers to define project objectives, scope, and requirements.

- Review contract documents, drawings, and Bill of Quantities (BOQ).

- Prepare a detailed project execution program including timeline, manpower, and material requirements.

- Conduct kick-off meetings with internal teams (Design, Factory, Procurement, Site).

- Develop method statements and installation sequences for aluminium and glass works (doors, windows, partitions, façades).

- Identify project risks and prepare mitigation strategies.

- Work with Designers/Draftsmen to prepare shop drawings and ensure client/consultant approvals.

- Coordinate technical clarifications with consultants /clients.

- Ensure drawings are aligned with site conditions and fabrication feasibility.

- Liaise with Factory Production Manager to ensure fabrication schedules meet site requirements.

- Verify cutting lists, fabrication drawings, and ensure materials are available in time.

- Monitor fabrication quality and check the readiness of material before dispatch.

- Resolve any technical issues between design and production teams.

- Supervise Site Supervisors in day-to-day site execution.

- Ensure installation of aluminium frames, glass, doors, windows, and façades is as per drawings and approved standards.

- Monitor progress against baseline schedule and implement corrective actions in case of delays.

- Coordinate with clients (if any) to ensure scope, quality, and safety compliance.

- Ensure Quality checks are carried out for fabricated items before dispatch.

- Conduct site inspections along with Site Supervisors for installation works.

- Ensure all works conform to project specifications and standards.

- Minimize reworks and ensure snag issues are resolved immediately.

- Enforce health and safety procedures at all times across all sites.

- Act as the single point of contact for the client during project execution.

- Provide regular progress updates to clients and consultants.

- Secure approvals for shop drawings, materials, and work inspections.

- Manage client expectations and ensure satisfaction.

- Monitor project budget and control costs.

- Verify and certify bills and site petty cash claims.

- Support the accounts team in project invoicing and claims.

- Maintain project documentation, including drawings, approvals, reports, and records.

- Submit weekly project progress reports to Management.

- Prepare monthly project performance summary (time, cost, quality).

- Conduct project review meetings with management and team.

- Prepare final project completion report and ensure smooth handover.

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Project management in the glass, aluminium, facade, or similar industry.
• Excellent command of English (spoken and written); Arabic/Hindi is a plus.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Project) and AutoCAD knowledge is an advantage.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and under pressure to meet deadlines.
• Valid UAE driving license is a plus.
• Familiarity with UAE construction practices, regulations, and standards.

Salary:

Upto 5000AED + other benefits as per UAE labor law.
