About the Project and Opportunity: ACCIONA has begun the main works of the wharf infrastructure project at Port Hedland for Pilbara Ports Authority. This marks the first stage in the development of the (LCGF), a transformative multi-user facility designed to: Enable the export of critical minerals. Support the import of renewable energy infrastructure. Facilitate the import/export of general cargo. Accommodate the import of bulk liquids such as fuel and chemicals.Based on site in Port Hedland, you will report to the Construction Manager and Senior Project Manager while overseeing the delivery of the Bulk Earthworks package. This significant scope includes bulk and detailed earthworks and you will be responsible for: Ensure the project is delivered to overall program with allocation of resources to ensure cost, time and quality targets are achieved. Identification and assessment of risk to the project as well as implementation of strategies to mitigate risk Use your technical skills to resolve design challenges and identify value engineering opportunities Assist in development and implementation of the master program and maintain mid- long-term look aheads Contracts & commercial responsibilities on the project Cost and forecast control to assist the project managers with strategic planning Lead, develop and manage project teams on the ground Build effective and & collaborative relationships to coordinate activities with supervisors Maintaining quality, environmental, and safety systems across the project Required Skills and Competencies You will have a tertiary education in civil engineering, construction or similar Extensive experience on site working on a large earthworks package Ideally you will be able to manage and drive program as well as display a high level of competency around contracts/financial management & team leadership Well-developed communication skills and an ability to build and maintain relationships with a broad range of subcontractors, local authorities, internal staff and clients Noting: the hire point for this role is Perth, WA and it is a 2/1 FIFO roster What we offer: Personalised progression plans to help you achieve your career goals Opportunity to lead, mentor and develop a large team of engineers Competitive salary in line with experience + Acciona bonus incentive scheme + salary sacrifice options Excellent Site Uplift Fantastic Employee Benefits including free salary continuance insurance, paid parental leave, childcare and wellness rebates and much more Apply now!
