Senior Project Engineer – Key Job Responsibilities

• Lead, manage, and coordinate all engineering aspects of construction projects from planning to completion.
• Review project designs, technical drawings, and specifications to ensure accuracy and compliance with standards.
• Prepare project schedules, monitor progress, and ensure timely completion of all engineering activities.
• Oversee site execution, ensuring work is performed according to approved drawings, quality standards, and safety regulations.
• Coordinate and communicate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams to resolve technical issues.
• Support the Project Manager by providing technical expertise, progress updates, and risk assessments.
• Conduct site inspections, identify engineering problems, and implement corrective measures.
• Manage material submittals, drawings, method statements, and other project documentation.
• Ensure cost control by monitoring resources, materials, and engineering-related expenditures.
• Maintain updated project reports, logs, and records for quality assurance and audits.
• Assist in procurement by evaluating technical proposals and verifying material compliance.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations, building codes, and industry standards.
• Mentor junior engineers and supervise technical staff on-site.
• Support HSE teams by enforcing safety procedures and participating in toolbox talks.
• Contribute to project close-out processes including as-built drawings, testing, commissioning, and final handover.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED8,000.00 - AED12,000.00 per month

Experience:

• Construction Sector Working: 10 years (Required)

License/Certification:

• UAE DRIVING LICENSE (Required)
• SOE (Required)
