Senior Project Engineer – Metal Industries

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage metal works projects, including steel, aluminum, stainless steel, and façade systems, from planning to handover.
• Coordinate effectively between design, engineering, production, procurement, QA/QC, and site installation teams to ensure smooth project execution.
• Ensure all project activities are completed on time, within budget, and according to required quality standards and specifications.
• Review and manage technical submittals, RFIs, method statements, and shop/production drawings for approval.
• Communicate professionally with consultants, main contractors, clients, and internal stakeholders to resolve technical issues and provide updates.
• Monitor daily project progress, track milestones, and prepare weekly/monthly progress reports for management and clients.
• Supervise and manage subcontractors, ensuring adherence to project requirements, safety regulations, and site protocols.
• Conduct site inspections to verify installation quality, compliance with drawings, and adherence to safety and industry standards.
• Identify risks, propose solutions, and implement corrective actions to prevent delays and cost impact.
• Support material procurement by preparing BOQs, material schedules, and technical specifications, and ensuring timely delivery to the site.
