Senior Project Manager

We need a Senior Project Manager to lead and oversee the planning, design, and construction supervision phases of major engineering projects. This role is responsible for delivering projects on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards, while acting as the primary point of contact for clients and stakeholders. The position reports to the Managing Director or Head of Engineering.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the overall project management for large-scale and complex engineering consultancy projects from inception to completion.
• Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, schedule, budget, resource allocation, and risk management strategies.
• Serve as the primary client liaison, managing communications, expectations, and ensuring client satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
• Lead and coordinate multidisciplinary design teams (civil, structural, MEP, etc.) and external sub-consultants.
• Monitor project financial performance, approve invoices, and manage project budgets and profitability.
• Ensure all project deliverables adhere to company quality standards, client specifications, and relevant UAE regulations.
• Oversee the construction supervision phase, coordinating with site-based resident engineers and inspectors.
• Prepare and present regular project status reports to senior management and clients.
• Identify, mitigate, and resolve project risks and issues proactively.
• Mentor and provide guidance to junior project managers and project coordinators.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field. A Master’s degree or PMP/PRINCE2 certification is highly preferred.
• Minimum of 12 years of experience in project management within an engineering consultancy or related environment, with at least 5 years in a senior role.
• Proven track record of successfully managing multiple large-scale engineering projects in the UAE from the design phase through construction supervision.
• In-depth knowledge of UAE building codes, regulations, and authority submission procedures.
• Strong financial acumen with experience managing multi-million-dirham project budgets.
• Excellent leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera P6) and MS Office.
• Fluency in English is required; proficiency in Arabic is a significant advantage.
• UAE driver’s license.

Pay: AED12,000.00 - AED15,000.00 per month
