Position Overview

The Division Manager for Projects will oversee the execution and performance of private network projects within the distribution and transmission domain. This role ensures that projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and in alignment with technical and contractual requirements. The Division Manager will lead project teams, coordinate with stakeholders, and drive continuous improvement across project operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the full lifecycle of private network projects in distribution and transmission.
• Oversee project planning, scheduling, resource allocation, and risk management.
• Ensure compliance with technical specifications, safety standards, and contractual obligations.
• Coordinate with internal teams, clients, contractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth project execution.
• Monitor project performance, budgets, and timelines, implementing corrective actions when needed.
• Prepare and review project reports, progress updates, and performance dashboards.
• Support tendering activities, including technical evaluations and BOQ reviews.
• Drive process improvements and promote best practices across project teams.
• Mentor and develop project engineers and supervisors.
• Ensure customer satisfaction through proactive communication and issue resolution.

• Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of distribution and transmission systems, private networks, and utility standards.
• Proven leadership and team‑management capabilities.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Strong analytical, planning, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast‑paced environment.

Experience Level

Mid‑Level (8–12 Years)

• Experience in project management within the power sector, preferably in distribution and transmission.
• Prior involvement in utility or EPC projects is an advantage.
