Senior Project Manager

The ideal candidate will have experience in managing complex projects, preferably in technology systems, project from start to finish.

Position Title: Senior Project Manager

Key responsibilities, not limited to:

1.Contribution to Business/Missions & Objectives:

▪ Achieve customer satisfaction by ensuring conformance to Quality Policy;

▪ Meet project profitability objectives;

▪ Regular Business Review /analysis of project and reporting to Management;

▪ Contribute in development & implementation of a strategy to enhance project management efficiency and organizational growth.

2.Operational Responsibility:

▪ Lead, plan, organize, manage and control the following:

• project schedules, budgets and quality objectives;
• timely realization of complex projects to meet delivery deadline;
• day-to-day Project Management (PM) activities and operations;
• customer training;
• review of engineering and financial deliverables and regular progress reporting;

▪ Comply and participate in organization of project relevant processes within the company;

▪ Input in tender preparation / submission of tender / bid documents;

▪ Input in contract negotiations with customers;

▪ Integration and management of local subcontractors into running programs;

▪ Managing risks to successfully deliver software and hardware projects;

▪ Presentations and communication with customers (queries, feedbacks, follow-ups, project review and status meetings, technical presentations and clarifications customer observations etc);

▪ Coordination with internal departments, customers, and concerned authorities;

▪ Final project system design in coordination with the Engineering Manager;

▪ Final supplier quotation in coordination with the Commercial department;

▪ Coordination and management of sub-contractors, suppliers and vendors as per company procedures and policies;

▪ Resource capacity planning & utilization, and attendance of coordination meetings;

▪ Coordinating demo/ trials for customers in Middle East and Africa Region and assisting Sales;

▪ Final project assessment related to costs, margin, resources and project duration;

▪ Support Regional (Middle East and Africa) Director for the enterprise wide report to the higher management (Planned vs. Actual for Project Cost, Schedule, Budget, Revenue, Profitability Report, and Milestone Progress).

3.Contribution to Efficiency & Capability Development

▪ Develop long term partnership with key sub-contractors, suppliers and vendors;

▪ Keep abreast of latest technological and trends;

▪ Develop and improve work processes and tools to improve efficiency, and benchmark against best practices in the market;

▪ Ensure optimum usage/ distribution of resources/ assets.

Job Requirements

▪ Degree in Engineering, Electrical/ Electronic, Network or Communication technology, or a comparable field

▪ Technical knowledge in Communications Systems in ATC/Defense segment, specifically in: Voice

Communication Systems, V/UHF Radio Systems, HF Radio Systems, IP Networking Technologies

▪ Minimum 10 years of professional experience in similar field

▪ Driven for results and highly oriented to teamwork and group collaboration

▪ Proven experience in leading a team of skilled individuals

▪ Working knowledge of project management tools & techniques with good grasp of organizational

structures

▪ Great social and networking skills

▪ Resourceful, proactive, and independent

▪ Effective ability to work with people of different levels to address issues and to attend amicable solutions

▪ Expertise in project management and project management methodologies

▪ Exposure to procurement and sourcing of technical goods and services

▪ Is prepared to travel and be on the road for extended periods overseeing and driving project successes

▪ Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

▪ Fluent English is primary to round off your profile;
