Senior Proposal Engineer

Work Location

MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB

• To review draft tender and project documents to assist in the preparation of technical and commercial bids for company projects.

Job Responsibilities:

• Continuously updating the department data bank.
• Continuously updating the department vendor list, including updating PQs documents as per department procedures.
• Assist in improving & updating department tools & procedures.
• Prepare and identify the SOW, specs & T&Cs according to the tender document.
• Assist in the preparation of the go/no-go presentation.
• Define the D.O.R. for different tenders.
• Coordinate with different companies’ departments (i.e., Engineering, Contracts, Planning, Quality, etc.) if required.
• Prepare RFQs and coordinate with suppliers.
• Communicate & follow up with suppliers to ensure the submission of the offers according to the action plan.
• Assist in the integration process of stakeholders' deliverables.
• Preparation of techno-commercial clarifications as per ITB.
• Prepare the comparison sheets for the received offers.
• Assist in the preparation of the final technical/commercial proposal according to the client’s requirements.
• Assist the proposal team with preparation of post-submission clarifications' replies.
• Participate in business development in high management meetings to present the final commercial proposal and ensure that the proposal achieves the company’s target.
• Attend technical discussions with the client, engineering, and suppliers.
• After the project is awarded, assist in preparing the RBI and hand over the project to the Project Management Team.

Job Requirements:

• Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
• 2 : 5 years of related work experience.
• Communication and interpersonal.
• EPC experience is a plus.
