Senior Proposal Manager

Atmos Solutions, Inc. is seeking a qualified, talented, and experienced Senior Proposal Writer to join our Business Development Department. We are looking for an experienced Senior Proposal Writer to plan, write, and deliver proposals to our potential clients. You will be responsible for developing and updating proposal content to tailor it to the client while keeping our company’s best interests in mind.

To succeed in this role, you need to convert technical concepts to easy-to-understand content while adhering to industry and corporate proposal-writing standards. The ideal candidate is expected to have at least 7 years of experience in Proposal Writing and a Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.

SENIOR PROPOSAL MANAGER JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Working with our business development department, the ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, writing, and delivering proposals to our potential clients. The candidate will be responsible for developing and updating proposal content to tailor it to the client, while keeping our company’s best interests in mind. The candidate’s responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Writing compliant, persuasive, and articulate proposal text

· Write responses to Requests for Proposals, Requests for Information, and other federal, state, or international government requests

  • Researching and acquiring relevant industry statistics and data to ensure that everything is up to date
  • Adhering to industry and corporate proposal-writing standards
  • Converting technical and other complex concepts to easily digestible content
  • Collaborating with Graphic Designers to develop and implement engaging graphics
  • Reviewing and editing proposals for accuracy and consistency
  • Assist Junior Proposal Writers when necessary
  • Write clear, persuasive, and articulate proposal sections
  • Rewrite and review proposal sections and related proposal documents
  • Research, write, and organize information in a professional and credible manner
  • Review products, services, and/or business ideas
  • Attend meetings with the client to translate requirements into proposals
  • Prioritize responsibilities to meet deadlines
  • Maintain consistency by following company policies
  • Give presentations to the executive board
  • Proposal Management - either lead and/or assist management with proposal management (e.g. compliance matrix creation, proposal outlines, reuse content from proposal libraries, cover pages, etc.)
  • Writing proposal pieces such as Company Introduction, Management and Staffing Plans, Past Performances, Bios/Resumes.

Key Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Communications, Marketing, or a related field
  • Knowledge of the best proposal-writing practices in the industry and the ability to implement them
  • Minimum of three (3) years of prior Federal proposal writing experience
  • Minimum 7 years of total experience
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills
  • High proficiency in the English language
  • Strong research, editing, and proofreading skills

Pay: $95,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
