Senior Purchase Engineer

We are hiring a Sr. Purchase Specialist with our client who are a leading lifting solution and rigging company, delivering high-performance ropes, slings, and engineered products to industries like energy, marine, ports, and construction.

The ideal candidate will oversee new sourcing, manage vendor relationships, and handle purchase activities, ensuring quality, cost-efficiency, and timely delivery.

Job responsibilities

• Source and onboard new suppliers; maintain and regularly update the vendor database (local & international).
• Develop and approve new products through structured sampling, testing, and quality evaluation.
• Manage purchase orders, lead pricing negotiations, and ensure timely delivery schedules.
• Monitor market trends, price movements, and supplier performance to support strategic sourcing decisions.
• Assist in conducting supplier audits and compliance checks as per company standards.
• Prepare sourcing and procurement MIS reports and dashboards for management review.
• Build and maintain strong vendor relationships while driving cost optimization initiatives. Coordinate closely with internal teams to plan inventory levels and fulfill procurement requirements efficiently.

Job Location: Patal Ganga (Company transportation available from Panvel Station)

Preferred candidate

• Must be a BE/ B.tech Graduate in Mechanical stream.
• should have a minimum of 5 years of experience in both Domestic & Global new sourcing & procurement process, preferably in a mechanical or industrial environment.
• Must be open to travel as per the role requirement

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹600,000.00 - ₹700,000.00 per year
