Roles & Responsibilities:
- Manage end-to-end procurement activities for raw materials, components, and services related to solar pump manufacturing.
- Identify, evaluate, and develop reliable vendors; negotiate prices, contracts, and delivery schedules.
- Ensure timely procurement as per production plans while maintaining optimum inventory levels.
- Coordinate with Production, Quality, and Stores departments to meet material requirements and specifications.
- Monitor supplier performance and resolve quality or delivery issues.
- Prepare purchase orders, maintain purchase records, and ensure compliance with company policies.
- Track market trends, cost optimization opportunities, and alternate sourcing.
- Ensure statutory and documentation compliance related to purchases.
Key Skills & Requirements:
- Strong experience in purchase/procurement within manufacturing, preferably solar pump or electrical/mechanical products.
- Knowledge of BOM, vendor development, price negotiation, and inventory control.
- Familiarity with ERP systems and MS Excel.
- Good communication, negotiation, and coordination skills.
