Senior Purchasing Officer

ALIF is a manufacturing company committed to quality, efficiency, and strong supplier partnerships. As we continue to scale, we are looking for an experienced Purchasing Officer to strengthen our procurement operations and ensure best-in-class purchasing practices.


Role Description

The Purchasing Officer is responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing materials, products, and services required for ALIF’s manufacturing operations. The role ensures that procurement activities follow best-practice procedures, including obtaining multiple competitive quotations, evaluating suppliers, and achieving optimal cost, quality, and delivery outcomes. The Purchasing Officer works closely with production, warehouse, logistics, and finance teams to ensure uninterrupted operations, compliance with internal controls, and continuous improvement in procurement efficiency.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Procurement, or a related field
  • 3–5 years of experience in purchasing or procurement, preferably in a manufacturing environment
  • Strong knowledge of procurement best practices, including RFQs, supplier evaluation, and cost analysis
  • Proven experience in negotiating with suppliers
  • Good understanding of inventory and production-related purchasing
  • Strong organizational and documentation skills
  • Proficient in MS Excel and ERP systems (EPICOR knowledge is a plus)
  • Excellent communication skills in English (Arabic is a plus)
