Senior Purchasing Specialist


Job Description


  • Managing domestic and international procurement and logistics processes (China, Taiwan, India)
  • Maintaining continuous communication with suppliers to ensure timely production and delivery
  • Researching and identifying new suppliers that meet required quality standards for production
  • Negotiating and managing confidentiality, general procurement, and quality agreements with suppliers
  • Creating and updating the approved and potential supplier list
  • Monitoring supplier performance, initiating corrective action plans, and following up
  • Evaluating weekly procurement requests based on supplier capacity and entering orders into the ERP system
  • Collaborating with the planning department to identify and resolve potential bottlenecks
  • Ensuring products are delivered completely and on time
  • Managing procurement processes through the ERP system (preferably IFS)
  • Advanced in written and spoken English is required.


Qualifications


  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Metallurgical, or Materials Engineering (preferred)
  • Experience in overseas supply chain operations, particularly in China, Taiwan, and India
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in procurement and supply chain operations
  • Strong supplier relationship management and negotiation skills
  • Experience in supplier selection, evaluation, and performance management
  • Ability to prepare and manage confidentiality, procurement, and quality agreements
  • Analytical mindset with strong reporting and data analysis skills
  • Proficient in ERP systems; experience with IFS is an advantage
  • Residing in or willing to relocate to Çorlu
