Senior QA Lead (Conversational AI)

W*e are hiring for Senior QA Lead* to define and drive the overall QA vision, strategy, and execution across 4–5 large Conversational AI implementations. This role will be responsible for setting up QA processes, governance, and documentation structures, managing QA risk across programs, and leading a large distributed QA organization.

Key Responsibilities

QA Strategy & Direction

• Define the QA goals, standards, and operating model across multiple Conversational AI programs
• Translate program objectives into a clear QA strategy and roadmap aligned with delivery and business outcomes
• Ensure consistency of QA approach while allowing flexibility for program-specific needs

Program & Risk Management

• Review, assess, and proactively manage QA risks across all implementations
• Identify gaps in test coverage, environments, data, automation, and non-functional testing
• Communicate QA risks clearly to senior stakeholders and recommend practical mitigation strategies
• Act as the escalation point for critical quality, release, and compliance issues

Process & Documentation Setup

• Establish and standardize QA processes, templates, and documentation structures across teams, including:
• Test strategies and test plans
• Test case design and traceability
• Defect management and reporting
• Entry/exit criteria and release sign-off
• Ensure documentation is consistent, auditable, and scalable across programs

Team Leadership & Capability Building

• Lead and manage a QA organization of 30–40 QAs, with 3–4 QA Leads reporting into this role
• Set clear expectations, roles, and performance measures for QA Leads and teams
• Coach QA Leads on program management, risk assessment, and stakeholder communication
• Drive capability uplift in areas such as automation, AI/ML testing, and conversational QA

Stakeholder & Delivery Collaboration

• Partner with Product, Engineering, Data Science, and Delivery leaders to align QA with sprint and release plans
• Provide program-level QA status, insights, and recommendations to leadership
• Ensure QA readiness for releases across multiple, parallel implementations

Required Experience & Skills

• 10+ years in Quality Assurance, with experience in large, complex implementations
• Proven experience leading multi-program QA efforts and defining QA strategy at scale
• Strong background in risk-based QA, governance, and release readiness
• Demonstrated experience managing large QA teams (30+), including QA Leads
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills at senior leadership level

Preferred Experience

• Experience testing Conversational AI, NLP, LLM-based systems, or AI platforms
• Exposure to test automation, non-functional testing, and AI model validation
• Experience working in Agile / SAFe delivery environments.

Pay: ₹100,000.00 - ₹500,000.00 per month
