Senior QA/QC Engineer

Job description:

We are looking for a highly skilled QA/QC Engineer, multi-discipline skills to join our project team. The ideal candidate will have solid experience in QA/QC within EPC projects (Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Power, or Infrastructure), with strong knowledge of international codes, standards, and project quality practices.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of QA/QC experience, with at least 5 years in EPC projects.
• Knowledge of international standards (ASME, API, ASTM, IEC, ISO, AWS, etc.).
• Mechanical Engineering

Key Responsibilities

• Implement and monitor QA/QC systems to ensure compliance with project specifications, codes, and standards.
• Prepare the project quality documentation, inspection test plans (ITPs), QAQC Plan, and QC procedures.
• Perform inspections for tank Erection and fabrication stage wise inspection, piping, and structural works as per project requirements.
• Manage non-conformance reports (NCRs), root cause analysis, and corrective actions.
• Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and clients to ensure quality requirements are met.
• Ensure adherence to ISO 9001:2015 QMS and other applicable standards.
• Support audits, inspections, and quality reporting throughout the project lifecycle.
• Maintain strong communication with multi-disciplinary teams in offshore environments.

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from a reputed university
• ISO 9001:2015 QMS certification (Lead Auditor preferred).
• Offshore project experience in GCC or other regions preferred.
• ADNOC/ENOC project experience is an advantage.
• Strong skills in QA/QC tools, documentation, NCR management, and problem-solving.
• Proficient in MS Office and quality documentation systems.
• Deep understanding of different welding processes and techniques, including the ability to perform or witness welder qualification tests.
• Expertise in surface preparation methods and a wide range of coating and painting applications and standards.
• Proficiency in various NDT methods such as Magnetic Particle Testing (MT), Penetrant Testing (PT), Ultrasonic Testing (UT), and Radiographic Testing (RT).
• Standards and Codes: Strong knowledge of relevant industry codes and standards (e.g., ASME, API, AWS, NACE, BGAS).

Job Type: Permanent

Pay: AED8,000.00 - AED10,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Dubai: Reliably commute or willing to relocate with an employer-provided relocation package (Preferred)

• QA/QC Field: 10 years (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• NDT Level II, CSWIP 3.1, BGAS/NACE (Preferred)
