Job Summary
The QA/QC Engineer is responsible for implementing and maintaining quality assurance and quality control systems to ensure that project activities, materials, and workmanship comply with approved specifications, codes, standards, and client requirements. The role supports continuous quality improvement across all project phases.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement and monitor the Project Quality Plan (PQP)
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, drawings, and applicable standards
- Prepare, review, and maintain QA/QC documentation and records
- Conduct inspections, tests, and quality audits at site
- Review material submittals, method statements, and inspection test plans (ITPs)
- Coordinate with consultants, clients, and third-party inspectors
- Identify non-conformances (NCRs) and ensure corrective and preventive actions
- Monitor workmanship quality during construction and installation activities
- Ensure proper calibration and use of inspection and testing equipment
- Prepare quality reports, inspection records, and handover documents
- Support internal and external audits
- Promote quality awareness among project teams and subcontractors
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Civil / Mechanical / Electrical or relevant discipline)
- 3–4years of experience as a QA/QC Engineer or similar role
- Experience in construction, EPC, oil & gas, or industrial projects
- Knowledge of international standards (ISO 9001, ASME, API, ASTM, IEC, etc.)
- Certification in QA/QC or ISO standards is an advantage
