Senior QA/QC Engineer

Galaxy Metal Industries LLC is seeking a highly experienced Senior QA/QC Engineer to join our Metal Division.

Requirements:

• Proven UAE experience in structural steel, architectural metalwork, and metal fabrication projects.
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Civil, or a related Engineering discipline.
• Strong knowledge of QA/QC standards, inspection procedures, and project quality requirements.
• Extensive experience in preparing and managing ITPs, MIRs, WIRs, method statements, inspection reports, and quality documentation.
• Ability to coordinate inspections with consultants, clients, and third-party inspectors.
• Experience in monitoring fabrication and installation activities to ensure compliance with project specifications, approved drawings, and international standards.
• Strong understanding of welding inspections, coating/painting inspections, and material traceability.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
• Immediate joiners will be an advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead all QA/QC activities for metal fabrication and installation projects.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, quality standards, and client requirements.
• Conduct inspections, manage NCRs, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Coordinate with production, engineering, and site teams to maintain quality throughout the project lifecycle.
• Review and approve quality documentation before submission to consultants and clients.
• Mentor junior QA/QC engineers and inspectors to maintain a high standard of quality across projects.
