Senior QA/QC Engineer- MEP

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and compile MEP closeout documents including:
• Operation & Maintenance (O&M) manuals
• As-built drawings
• Test reports (e.g., T&C reports for HVAC, electrical systems, plumbing)
• Material approvals and compliance certificates
• Warranty and guarantee certificates
• Authority approvals (e.g., DEWA, ADDC, Civil Defence)
• Commissioning reports and third-party certifications
• Coordinate with MEP site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to collect and validate quality records and documents.
• Review MEP QA/QC documentation for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with specifications and client/consultant requirements.
• Maintain a document tracker to monitor document status, submission timelines, and consultant/client feedback.
• Liaise with Document Control for proper filing, labeling, and archiving of QA/QC records.
• Support the MEP team during final inspections, testing & commissioning, and snag list clearance.
• Ensure adherence to ISO 9001 quality standards and internal QA/QC procedures.
• Provide support during internal and external audits regarding closeout documentation.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• 5–10 years of MEP QA/QC experience in UAE construction projects, with at least 2 years focused on project closeout.
• Strong knowledge of local authority standards (DEWA, ADDC, DM, Civil Defence, etc.).
• Excellent attention to detail and documentation control.
• Proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD (for markup of as-builts), and document control platforms (e.g., Aconex, Procore).
• Strong coordination and communication skills with consultants, clients, and subcontractors.
• Ability to work independently under tight deadlines.
