Key Responsibilities:

· Supervise daily QC operations across the corrugated carton production process (raw materials, in-process checks, and finished goods).

· Ensure adherence to Quality Management System (QMS) requirements and compliance with ISO 9001 standards.

· Develop, implement, and update quality control procedures, inspection plans, and sampling methods specific to corrugated carton manufacturing.

· Monitor and analyze quality performance indicators, identify non-conformances, and drive corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).

· Lead root cause analysis for recurring quality issues and coordinate with production teams to implement solutions.

· Prepare and maintain QC documentation including inspection reports, calibration records, and compliance checklists.

· Train, mentor, and supervise QC inspectors to enhance technical competency and awareness of quality standards.

· Conduct internal audits and support external customer or certification audits.

· Collaborate with suppliers to ensure raw material quality standards (e.g., kraft liner, adhesives, inks) are met.

· Ensure customer requirements and specifications are consistently met in product quality.

· Drive continuous improvement initiatives aligned with lean manufacturing and QMS principles.

Required Skills:

· Strong knowledge of Quality Management Systems (QMS) with proven experience in ISO 9001 implementation and auditing.

· Hands-on expertise in quality control for corrugated carton or packaging manufacturing industry.

· Ability to lead teams, train inspectors, and manage shift-based QC activities.

· Analytical and problem-solving skills with root cause analysis methodologies (e.g., 5 Whys, Fishbone, FMEA).

· Good command of inspection tools, sampling techniques, and statistical quality control methods.

· Proficiency in documentation, report writing, and use of quality-related software.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to coordinate with production, suppliers, and customers.

Qualification, Experience & Knowledge:

· Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Industrial Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, or related field.

· Certification in Quality Management / ISO 9001 Lead Auditor or Internal Auditor is highly preferred.

· Minimum 5–7 years of experience in Quality Control, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.

· Strong background in corrugated carton or packaging manufacturing industry.

Proven track record of managing QC processes in line with ISO 9001 standards.
