Position Overview

Position Overview

As a QA Engineer at VitalEdge, you will design and build automated tests and contribute to the continuous improvement of the Test Automation Framework and System. Automation scope includes web, mobile and API products, including regression tests, health-checks, and other scripts. Test execution is integrated with a cloud-based CI/CD platform, based on a defined release process. You bring a strong understanding of quality and test design, achieving effective test coverage, code reuse, and traceability using a data-driven, risk-based testing approach. You demonstrate advanced programming skills and practices. You will continuously grow your product and technical domain capabilities, through involvement in projects, research, and collaboration with cross-functional teams. You are an enthusiastic member of a high-performing Quality and Testing team, working in a supportive and sharing environment. You are experienced in following an agile scrum methodology and take pride in delivering on time and on-quality, while contributing to success measured against team and company objectives.

Responsibilities

• Executes both manual and automated test scripts
• Codes and implements automated tests
• Analyzes test results to identify defects and suggest improvements
• Verifies final products meet the requirements
• Assessing current products and identifying quality issues
• Recommending solutions to quality issues
• Determining performance indicators for a product’s quality
• Managing product improvement projects from start to finish
• Preparing quality reports for senior management
• Attending training sessions to learn the best practices for how to improve the quality of products

Required Skills & Education

• Testing Exposure – (Project Exposure)
• Must have experience working on Automation, C# and Playwright.
• Exposure as end user on any ERP system (Service or Logistics ERP) - (Project Exposure)
• Ability to go through complex function designs, understand the new business flow and how it will be achieved in the software (which is still to be developed). The incumbent will be responsible for testing this.

Preferred Skills

• APICS certified
• Functional experience in any ERP in the Service or Logistics Area such as Sales, Distribution, Procurement and Inventory Management – (Exposure on multiple Projects)
