Senior Quality Assurance Engineer

📍 Location: Sharjah| 💼 Experience: 3-8 years. | Employment type: Contract(6months + extendable).

Job Summary:

We are seeking a Senior Test Engineer with hands-on experience in Retail or Corporate Lending domains to join our QA team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of lending lifecycle processes and experience in testing enterprise-grade Loan Origination Systems (LOS). Experience with Newgen BPM/LOS is a strong advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

Test Planning & Execution:

• Design, develop, and execute test cases for end-to-end loan lifecycle processes including application initiation, underwriting, sanctioning, disbursement, and servicing.
• Perform functional, integration, regression, and UAT testing for lending platforms.

Domain Expertise:

• Apply deep domain knowledge in Retail (PL, HL, Auto, Credit Cards) or Corporate Lending to validate business rules, workflows, and compliance requirements.
• Validate DBR calculations, deviation handling, and approval workflows.

Platform Testing:

• Test configurations and customizations in Loan Origination Systems (LOS) such as Newgen-IBPS , FinOne, or similar platforms.
• Collaborate with development and business teams to ensure accurate implementation of lending logic.

Defect Management:

• Log, track, and manage defects using tools like JIRA or HP ALM.
• Work closely with developers and business analysts to resolve issues and retest fixes.

Client & Stakeholder Interaction:

• Participate in requirement walkthroughs, test case reviews, and UAT sessions with business users and clients.
• Provide detailed test reports and quality metrics to stakeholders.

Compliance & Regulatory Testing:

• Ensure test coverage for compliance with RBI , CBUAE , AML , and KYC guidelines.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Experience: 4–6 years in software testing, with at least 2+ years in lending domain projects .
• Domain Knowledge: Strong understanding of Retail or Corporate Lending products and workflows.
• Tools: Experience with Newgen BPM/LOS is a strong advantage. Familiarity with test management tools (JIRA, ALM, TestRail).
• Technical Skills: Basic SQL for data validation, understanding of XML/JSON for API testing is a plus.
• Soft Skills: Excellent communication, analytical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
• Certifications (Preferred): ISTQB, or domain-specific certifications in banking/lending.
