ABOUT YOUR ROLE:

To carry out quality inspection (inline and final) to ensure the shipped products conform KONTOOR BRANDS quality requirement and timely execution and develop vendor factories towards proactive quality process approach as per Kontoor quality SOP.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:

Include but not limited to

1. To work closely with the GS, Wash Tech and Merchandiser during the Pre-production stage to review Style Construction Details, Risk Analysis and CTQ Identification.
2. Monitor productions closely and provide technical support to ensure quality meets specifications and that there is no quality complaint.
3. Conduct quality audits PP, In-line and Final. Fill out inspection report in every production stage (PP, In-line, Final).
4. Regular check on accuracy of reports, timely completion and update (NGS, SPecsFas, CAP’s).
5. To handle key vendors, key style/ programs, with the experience as a Senior QA, to ensure quality performance.
6. Time to time gather all the repeated Quality related mistakes by vendors and arrange a periodic training / awareness program for vendor employees (those handles Kontoor production) and educate them as per Kontoor standards and expectations.
7. Work according to KONTOOR Related SOP’s and the same is followed by the Supplier.
8. Communicate proactively, effectively and as often as necessary with all personnel in the QA and Merchandising Team, in Obtaining accurate information and notifying product quality issues.
9. Continuously review all kind of Kontoor Quality Standard Implementation challenges at vendor factories and filter them as per relations with Kontoor’s internal team such as Merchandising team, GS, Wash etc. Periodically sit with Kontoor internal team and discuss those challenges and identify the way out with everyone’s alignment. Take ownership to implement them to have a smooth QA activity.
10. Troubleshooting if encounter any quality problems in the production, by escalating to the relevant teams and to seek required technical support when necessary.
11. To assure all factory Assigned QC are well trained and qualified to conduct Pre-final and Self-Final audits of KONTOOR BRANDS products.
12. To provide Quality and Technical guidelines to respective factory QA’s & Assigned QC’s.
13. To follow up on Product Quality CAP implementation and completion.
14. To follow up on PQI CAP progress, implementation and Completion.
15. Monitor all vendors follow KONTOOR BRANDS Term of Engagement, Vendor Code of Conduct and other rules and regulations.
16. To establish a good relationship with factory to facilitate problem solving and effective Quality Assurance System.

WHAT WE WILL BE LOOKING FOR IN YOU:

-Integrity and Ethical conduct.

-Experience 9 years as a QA Inspector in a Brand, Liaison office, Agent or 9 years in an Apparel Manufacturer (Quality, Technical, Sample Room).

-Language Proficiency: English and local language fluency in both oral and writing

ACADEMIC QUALIFICATIONS

A minimum of a Bachelor's degree, preferably in Textile Engineering from a reputed university.

SPECIFIC WORKING CONDITIONS （ if any）

• Frequency of Travel: 80%
• External communication required: 80%

Major Challenges for this role:

Carry out quality inspection to ensure the shipped products conform LWR quality requirement and timely execution. Communicate vendors about Kontoor quality standards clearly and educate them time to time towards it. Communication with the other Kontoor internal departments about the ongoing challenges to implement quality standards and their involvement to improve those challenges.
