Job Duties

Develop and execute end-to-end test strategies that include UI and API automation, performance testing, and basic security testing. Collaborate with cross-functional teams—including developers, product managers, and DevOps—to define acceptance criteria, integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines, and ensure early defect detection. Monitor and improve automated test coverage and effectiveness. Work closely with development on automation architecture as well as design to ensure integrity, reliability and effectiveness of automation. Design and build a complete load and performance testing framework. Lead root cause analysis efforts, drive continuous improvement across automation processes, and mentor junior engineers to promote best practices in building automation code. Develop and execute strategy for converting existing manual suite of tests into automated tests. Apply strong knowledge of QA methodologies, SDLC, automation practices, and performance testing to ensure quality is embedded throughout the development lifecycle. Consistently deliver on work and schedule commitments. May telecommute.

Job Requirements

Employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information System, Computer Information Systems or related discipline and 4 years of experience in the job offered or in a Quality Engineer-related occupation. Position requires experience in the following:

• Familiar with one or more of the following programming/scripting languages: C#, Java, SQL, JavaScript, TypeScript, Bash and Shell
• Experience with the following evaluation and developing test frameworks: Selenium
• Automation testing tools & frameworks experience with one or more of the following UI, API & performance: Selenium, Selenium Webdriver, Katalon Studio, Playwright, RestSharp, Jest, JMeter, Blazemeter and Postman
• Experience with the following types of testing: Unit, Functional, System, Integration, API, Regression, Security, Smoke testing
• Experience with the following design pattern: Page Object Model (POM) for test automation
• Hands on with one or more of the following Continuous Integration Tools: Jenkins, Bamboo, Azure, and GitHub Actions
• Experience with the following Source Control: Bitbucket and GitHub
• Experience with the following Project Management: Confluence and JIRA
• Experience with one or more of the following Test Case Management/Runner: Test Rail, Zephyr, and Xray
