Senior Quantity Surveyor

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Quantity Surveyor with deep expertise in roads, highways, and infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will lead cost planning, contract administration, and commercial management across large-scale civil works, ensuring financial efficiency and contractual compliance throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates, BOQs, and tender documentation for roadworks and infrastructure projects
• Manage pre- and post-contract activities including procurement, valuations, variations, and claims
• Monitor project budgets, cash flow, and cost control measures
• Conduct risk assessments and value engineering to optimize project delivery
• Liaise with consultants, contractors, and government authorities to ensure contractual alignment
• Prepare interim payment applications and final accounts
• Ensure compliance with FIDIC and local contract regulations
• Mentor junior quantity surveyors and support team development

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, or related field
• Minimum 8 years of experience in quantity surveying, with at least 5 years in roads/infrastructure projects
• Strong understanding of UAE infrastructure standards and regulatory frameworks
• Proficient in cost management tools (e.g., Candy, CostX, Excel)
• Excellent negotiation, analytical, and reporting skills
• Membership in RICS or equivalent professional body is preferred
• UAE driving license is an advantage
