Senior Quantity Surveyor with extensive experience in high-rise residential, commercial, and mixed-use building projects. Proven expertise in cost planning, contract administration, tendering, and financial control from pre-contract through project close-out. Strong background in managing large-scale construction budgets, variations, and claims while ensuring compliance with contract conditions and project timelines.

Key Duties & ResponsibilitiesPre-Contract

• Prepare feasibility studies, cost plans, and detailed BOQs for high-rise projects
• Analyze drawings, specifications, and contract requirements
• Lead tendering processes: tender evaluation, clarification, and recommendation
• Assist in contract drafting and negotiation with clients and subcontractors

Post-Contract

• Manage project cost control and cash flow forecasting
• Prepare and certify interim valuations and progress payments
• Evaluate variations, change orders, and claims (EOT, prolongation, disruption)
• Monitor subcontractor payments and final accounts
• Coordinate with project managers, planning engineers, and site teams

Commercial & Contract Management

• Ensure compliance with FIDIC / bespoke contract conditions
• Identify commercial risks and implement cost-saving measures
• Prepare financial reports, cost vs budget analysis, and management summaries
• Lead final account settlement with clients and subcontractors

High-Rise Specialization

• Cost control for structural works, post-tension slabs, façade systems, MEP, and finishes
• Coordination with design, MEP, and façade consultants
• Experience handling complex vertical construction logistics and phased handovers
