QUANTITY SURVEYOR - MEP

Location : Trivandrum, Kerala

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor – MEP to handle cost management, estimation, billing, and contract administration for MEP works in building construction projects. The candidate should have strong knowledge of MEP systems, BOQs, and cost control.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed cost estimates, BOQs, and tender documents for MEP works (HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Fighting, ELV, etc.)
• Review drawings, specifications, and project requirements to prepare accurate quantity take-offs
• Handle pre-contract and post-contract quantity surveying activities
• Prepare interim and final bills, verify subcontractor bills, and process payments
• Monitor project costs and control variations and claims
• Coordinate with design, site, procurement, and planning teams
• Evaluate variations, change orders, and extra items
• Assist in contract administration and negotiation with vendors and subcontractors
• Maintain proper documentation related to cost, billing, and contracts
• Ensure compliance with project budgets and timelines

Required Skills & Competencies:

• Strong knowledge of MEP systems in building construction
• Proficiency in MS Excel and quantity take-off tools
• Ability to read and interpret MEP drawings and specifications
• Good analytical, negotiation, and communication skills
• Experience in billing, cost control, and contract management

Preferred Experience:

• Experience in residential, commercial, or mixed-use building projects
• Familiarity with standard measurement methods and contracts

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
