Job Brief

We are looking for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to support renovation works for the Ministry of Sports & Youth South Sector.

In this role, you will control costs, manage contracts, and protect project value. Your work will help deliver a high-quality public project within budget.

Responsibilities

• Prepare cost estimates and project budgets
• Develop BOQs and tender documents
• Monitor project expenses and control costs
• Review contractor bills and payment claims
• Track variations and change orders
• Prepare cost reports for management
• Use industry-standard QS software and tools
• Support contract administration
• Work closely with project managers and site teams
• Ensure project stays within approved budget

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in quantity surveying / civil engineering or related field
• Minimum 12 years experience in quantity surveying
• At least 5 years experience in similar large construction or renovation projects
• Ashghal project experience is a MUST
• Strong knowledge of construction contracts and cost control
• Experience using industry-standard equipment and QS software
• Good analytical and negotiation skills
• Excellent English communication skills (written and spoken)
