Duties of the Job
Responsibilities include delivering the Cost Consultancy / Quantity Surveying Services during the Post-Contract stage undertaken by the Company in the role of Cost Consultant.
Key Duties:
- Manage post-contract commercial and contractual matters.
- Prepare, submit, and negotiate interim payment applications.
- Evaluate and agree on variations with the Client/Consultant.
- Monitor project costs and maintain cost control.
- Prepare and assess extension of time (EOT) and related claims.
- Review and certify subcontractor payments.
- Attend commercial and progress meetings.
- Prepare final account statements and negotiate final settlements

- Contract Administration
- Valuation of contract payment application
- Valuation of contract variations
- Preparation of cost report and cash flow
- Quantity take-off
- Cost estimating and cost planning during design phases
- BOQ preparations
- Tender documentations, tendering and tender analysis
- Coordination with project parties
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
Education Requirements (Including Certification requirements)
- Bachelor’s degree in quantity surveying, Civil/Arch. Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
Experience in Years Specific Experience in Region
- Above 10-15 years out of which minimum 5 years in Post Contract with Client/Consultant experience in UAE.
