About the Role
We are seeking an accomplished Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a high-profile transportation infrastructure project in Doha as part of the client's delivery team. This is a critical role within a major program that will shape the region’s future mobility, offering the opportunity to contribute to complex, large-scale works in a dynamic project environment. The position is predominantly post-contract and requires a commercially astute professional with strong stakeholder management skills.
Key Responsibilities

Lead post-contract commercial management across significant infrastructure work packages.

Administer contracts, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations and project procedures.

Manage variations, claims, and change control processes, providing robust commercial recommendations.

Review and negotiate contractor submissions, including interim valuations and final accounts.

Monitor project costs, forecasts, and cash flow, identifying risks and opportunities.

Provide strategic commercial advice to senior project leadership.

Support dispute avoidance and resolution activities where necessary.

Collaborate closely with project controls, technical teams, and external stakeholders to maintain commercial integrity.
Requirements

MRICS accreditation is essential.

Minimum of 15 years’ experience in quantity surveying, with a strong track record on large infrastructure and/or transportation projects.

Demonstrated post-contract expertise on complex, high-value projects.

Prior client-side or consultancy experience is strongly preferred.

Deep understanding of standard forms of contract (e.g., FIDIC) and commercial best practices.

Excellent negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.

Proven ability to operate effectively within multidisciplinary, international project teams.
