About the Role

Embrace Technologies is looking for a Senior React Native Developer to take technical ownership of major mobile features and help shape the future of our mobile engineering practices. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams, mentor engineers, and contribute to architectural decisions for scalable mobile applications.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and ship React Native applications for iOS and Android
• Lead implementation of complex mobile features and technical initiatives
• Write clean, scalable, maintainable, and well-tested code
• Build and maintain native modules using Swift / Objective-C or Kotlin / Java
• Optimize app performance, startup time, memory usage, and bundle size
• Collaborate with product, design, backend, and QA teams
• Participate in architecture discussions, code reviews, and technical planning
• Maintain and improve CI/CD pipelines and app release workflows
• Mentor junior and mid-level engineers and promote engineering best practices

Requirements / Must-Have Skills

• 7+ years of overall mobile development experience
• Strong experience building and maintaining production React Native apps
• Deep understanding of JavaScript, TypeScript, and modern React patterns
• Strong understanding of mobile app lifecycle, navigation, state management, offline support, and push notifications
• Hands-on native mobile development experience on at least one platform:
• iOS (Swift / Objective-C), or
• Android (Kotlin / Java)
• Experience integrating REST and/or GraphQL APIs
• Experience with debugging and profiling tools such as Flipper, Xcode Instruments, or Android Studio Profiler
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Comfortable working in agile teams with peer reviews and technical discussions

Nice to Have

• Experience with React Native New Architecture (Fabric / TurboModules)
• Experience with Expo
• CI/CD experience using Fastlane, GitHub Actions, Bitrise, or EAS
• Experience publishing apps to App Store and Play Store
• Experience with Reanimated and Gesture Handler
• Testing experience using Jest, Detox, or native testing frameworks
• Open-source contributions
