The Senior Regional Account Manager at Safety Rail Company (SRC) is responsible for establishing business relationships and onboarding distributors, dealers, and other business entities to provide value and revenue for SRC. This role involves working closely with various teams, including the Regional Sales Managers, Inside Sales Team, and Marketing team, to manage sales, develop marketing tools, and build training programs.
What does this job entail?- Capable of moving significant new sales revenue to SRC within the first year of their Senior Regional Acct Manager role through preestablished business relationships.
- Report to and work closely with their Regional Sales Manager to establish business relationships and onboarding of Distributors, Dealers, and other business entities that provide value and revenue for SRC.
- Consistently interact directly with SRC customers to assess needs and suggest appropriate solutions and services.
- Effectively utilize SRC NetSuite CRM software to manage leads and opportunities in real time while performing best practice behaviors and necessary sales tasks (relevant documentation and note taking, timely quoting, and processing of orders).
- Work directly with Business Managers and Inside Sales Team to manage sales and provide daily sales support.
- When appropriate and necessary partner closely with the Inside Sales Team for support and management of daily tasks (relevant documentation and note taking, quotes, and sales orders)
- Collaborate with the Senior Sales Director and Marketing team to develop marketing tools that support new hire training, enhance customer engagement, and introduce new products and processes.
- Identify potential Strategic Partner opportunities and immediately bring in SA team for collaboration
- This position will work closely with the field services team, installation project managers (PMs), and manufacturing team
- Positively promote SRC brand and represent the company with good character and fair and honest business practices
- Complete quarterly business plans and review with Regional Sales Manager

Minimum of 3 years proven sales success in business that is directly related to that of SRC.

Proven relationships with key decision makers and business leaders within markets valued by SRC.

Four-year college degree and equivalent work experience.

Prior sales and outstanding customer service experience.

Candidate must live within sales coverage area and will work remotely.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to build rapport over the phone and virtually.

Prior experience in Environmental Health and Safety or Construction and Building Materials Industry, preferred.
- Prior ERP experience, Oracle NetSuite preferred.
