The position: As a Senior Relationship Manager within our Corporate Services division in the UAE, you will serve as the primary relationship lead for an assigned portfolio of clients, ensuring exceptional service delivery and strong client satisfaction. You will be responsible for managing the legal, corporate, administrative, and commercial affairs of client entities while maintaining compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and internal procedures.

In this role, you will proactively identify commercial opportunities, support portfolio growth, and contribute to the overall financial performance of the business through cross selling, upselling, and effective client relationship management. You will work closely with management, compliance, finance, and cross functional teams to ensure seamless delivery of services and operational excellence.

As a senior member of the team, you will also play an important role in mentoring junior colleagues, supporting team development, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. The Senior Relationship Manager reports directly to the Manager of Corporate Services.

Your responsibilities
  • Manage and take full ownership of an assigned client portfolio, ensuring all legal, corporate, regulatory, and administrative obligations are completed accurately and on time.
  • Establish and maintain strong client relationships through proactive communication, responsiveness, and a deep understanding of client needs and business objectives.
  • Deliver high quality client services in accordance with internal processes, procedures, and service standards while ensuring client satisfaction and operational excellence.
  • Identify and execute local and global commercial opportunities, including cross selling and upselling of services, new entities, and additional mandates.
  • Support revenue generation initiatives by contributing to portfolio growth and maintaining strong commercial awareness across the client base.
  • Conduct portfolio reviews, including work in progress (WIP) and overrun analysis, and recommend fee adjustments where appropriate.
  • Lead and participate in client meetings, presentations, and business development discussions with prospective and existing clients.
  • Draft, review, and coordinate high quality client documentation with strong attention to detail and minimal errors.
  • Ensure all ad hoc work is clearly scoped, agreed with clients in advance, and delivered within agreed timelines.
  • Proactively monitor and manage legal, operational, regulatory, and commercial risks within the client portfolio and escalates material issues appropriately.
  • Work closely with Compliance and Risk teams to ensure all file reviews, compliance actions, and monitoring requirements are completed within required deadlines.
  • Maintain accurate time recording and support achievement of billing, utilisation, and productivity targets.
  • Coordinate effectively with internal stakeholders across jurisdictions to support seamless global service delivery and cross jurisdiction collaboration.
  • Demonstrate sound judgement and independent decision making in managing client matters, issue resolution, and project execution.
  • Support and mentor junior team members through coaching, delegation, knowledge sharing, and ongoing development support.
  • Lead or contribute to strategic projects and operational improvement initiatives within the business.
  • Act as a positive ambassador of CSC by consistently demonstrating professionalism, integrity, collaboration, and alignment with company values.
Objectives Financial & Commercial Performance
  • Achieve quarterly invoiced billable hours and maintain accurate time recording to support client acceptance and minimise credit notes.
  • Generate contractual revenue inflows from new and existing clients through portfolio growth initiatives.
  • Maintain targeted productivity ratios across managed client entities.
  • Conduct regular portfolio optimisation and overrun reviews, implementing fee adjustments where required.
  • Accountable for annual revenues, EBITA margin and working capital for the key client portfolio;
  • Achieve cross selling opportunities with other CSC jurisdictions and support management led commercial initiatives.
  • Increase board support mandates and identify opportunities for additional services and new entity incorporation.
Client Management & Service Excellence
  • Deliver proactive, accurate, and timely services in line with CSC standards and procedures.
  • Maintain high quality drafting standards with minimal material errors.
  • Ensure clear communication and alignment with clients regarding scope, timelines, and service expectations.
  • Resolve client issues promptly and professionally while adhering to internal claims and incident procedures.
  • Lead regular client engagement meetings to assess satisfaction, identify opportunities, and strengthen relationships.
  • Maintain high client satisfaction scores and demonstrate examples of customer excellence and seamless service delivery.
Leadership, Teamwork & Culture
  • Build collaborative relationships across teams and functions while demonstrating initiative, accountability, and professional maturity.
  • Effectively delegate work and support the development of junior colleagues through coaching and mentorship.
  • Share knowledge proactively and contribute to a positive, high performing team culture.
  • Demonstrate leadership behaviours aligned with CSC values and act as a role model within the business.
Strategic Ownership & Risk Management
  • Independently manage workload, client communications, and issue resolution with minimal managerial oversight.
  • Take ownership of strategic and operational projects from initiation through execution.
  • Anticipate legal, regulatory, operational, and commercial risks across client portfolios and propose appropriate mitigation strategies.
  • Exercise balanced judgement in managing complex client and business situations.
Compliance & Governance
  • Ensure timely completion of file reviews, compliance monitoring, and remediation actions.
  • Adhere to all CSC compliance procedures, policies, and governance standards.
  • Monitor client transactions and activities while escalating material concerns appropriately.
Business Development & Professional Development
  • Independently lead business development discussions and client meetings with prospective clients.
  • Promote CSC services and identify opportunities aligned with client needs and strategic objectives.
  • Deliver client presentations and participate in industry networking and market engagement activities.
  • Lead internal knowledge sharing initiatives.
  • Support structured mentoring and development initiatives for junior team members and contribute to succession planning efforts.
