Senior Research Development Scientist

We are seeking a Chemist with a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry and preferably a PhD in Organic Chemistry, Polymer Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, or Materials Science, who is capable of independently designing, conducting, and completing experimental studies.

The successful candidate will take an active role in chemical synthesis, purification, characterization, and the transformation of R&D outcomes into scientific publications and patents.

Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive literature and patent searches

Design experimental systems and establish laboratory setups

Perform synthesis, isolation, purification, and characterization of chemical compounds

Actively operate and interpret data from instruments such as UV-Vis, Raman, X-Ray, NMR, SEC, HPLC, and GC-MS

Prepare technical reports and presentations for internal teams and project partners

Analyze results and develop scientific and technical solutions

Manage and follow up publication and patent processes

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry; preferably a PhD in Organic Chemistry, Polymer Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, or Materials Science

Strong experience in experimental design and advanced R&D projects

Solid background in synthetic chemistry and instrumental analysis

Excellent technical reporting and presentation skills

Ability to independently manage work packages

Advanced level of English (written and spoken)

Strong analytical thinking, creativity, and problem-solving skills

Technical Skills

Strong theoretical and practical background in organic and/or polymer chemistry

Advanced competence in novel material synthesis and surface applications

Proficiency in chromatographic and spectroscopic characterization techniques

Experience in converting R&D outputs into scientific publications and patents
