Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Reservoir Engineer to lead reservoir evaluation, oversee simulation models, and align engineering strategies with organizational goals. This role requires strong technical expertise, analytical skills, and the ability to deliver robust reservoir management solutions that support growth, efficiency, and long-term competitiveness.

Key Responsibilities

• Reservoir Evaluation: Conduct reservoir characterization, performance analysis, and decline curve studies.
• Simulation Modeling: Develop and maintain reservoir simulation models to optimize recovery.
• Production Forecasting: Provide forecasts and recommendations for field development plans.
• Risk Management: Identify reservoir-related risks and propose mitigation strategies.
• Compliance Oversight: Ensure adherence to GCC regulations, ISO standards, and industry-specific safety requirements.
• Innovation Leadership: Drive adoption of advanced reservoir modeling tools, AI-driven analytics, and enhanced recovery techniques.
• Collaboration: Partner with geoscientists, drilling engineers, and project managers to align reservoir strategies with business objectives.
• Mentorship: Guide junior engineers and foster a culture of accountability and technical excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Petroleum Engineering, Reservoir Engineering, or related field.
• 10+ years of reservoir engineering experience, with at least 5 years in a senior role.
• Strong knowledge of reservoir engineering frameworks and GCC oil & gas environments.
• Expertise in reservoir simulation software (Eclipse, CMG, Petrel RE) and production optimization tools.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and strategic problem-solving skills.
• Experience in multinational or regional oil & gas organizations preferred.
