Senior Residential HVAC Service Technician

Hage Energy is a well-established, family-owned HVAC company in Houston seeking an experienced, high-level Service Technician to join our growing team. We specialize in premium residential systems and light commercial applications, with strong expertise in high-efficiency and advanced equipment.

We are looking for a technician with at least 7+ years of field experience who takes pride in quality workmanship, ongoing education, and delivering exceptional service.

Position Overview

This role is ideal for a technician who is confident diagnosing complex issues, comfortable working on modern high-efficiency systems, and capable of handling both residential and light commercial service calls independently.

You must be experienced, professional, and growth-oriented.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain residential and light commercial HVAC systems
• Service and troubleshoot variable speed, two-stage, and inverter-driven systems
• Work on zoning systems and air balancing adjustments
• Service light commercial package units and split systems
• Perform high-level maintenance and system evaluations
• Provide clear, professional communication with customers
• Document findings and recommendations accurately
• Maintain company vehicle, tools, and safety standards

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years HVAC field experience
• Strong residential and light commercial background
• Hands-on experience with:
• Variable speed equipment
• Two-stage systems
• Zoning controls
• Commercial package units
• Familiarity with modern refrigerants and newer equipment platforms
• Participation in manufacturer training or continuous education courses preferred
• EPA Certification
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
• Professional appearance and strong customer communication skills
