Overview
Join our team as a Seasonal Retail Sales Associate and be part of an exciting shopping experience. We are looking for enthusiastic individuals to assist customers during the busy holiday season. Gift Gallery, is hiring for Retail Associates for our seasonal location in West Town Mall. This location will be opening November 1 and remain open during mall hours until December 30. Gift Gallery is a retailer of a unique line of collectable blown-glass, crystal gift figurines. We have been in the gift business for more than 20 years.

20-40+ hours/week
DAY and EVENING shifts available

Day Shift is typically from 10:00AM - 5:00PM

Evening Shift is typically from 4:00PM - 8:00PM

All Day Shift is typically from 10:00AM - 8:00PM

*Mall hours and shifts will change during peak shopping days (Thanksgiving Weekend and the 10 days before Christmas ** All locations will be closed on Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day)

Hourly pay is $14.00 - $16.00

Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service to all shoppers
- Assist customers in finding products and making purchasing decisions
- Operate cash registers and handle transactions accurately
- Maintain a clean and organized store environment
- Restock merchandise and ensure proper product placement on shelves
- Conduct product demonstrations to showcase features and benefits
- Assist with inventory management and stock replenishment

Skills
- Strong sales skills with a focus on customer satisfaction
- Proficiency in basic math for handling transactions
- Experience with stocking and organizing merchandise in a retail setting
- Familiarity with cash registers, point of sale (POS) systems, and retail math concepts
- Capability to conduct engaging product demonstrations for customers

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
*2 plus years of retail, sales, and/or customer service experience (especially in the gift/seasonal industry)
*Experience with computerized cash registers
*Ability to operate a smart phone or a computer tablet
*Must be 18 years old

*Mature, positive attitude, willing to help and go the extra mile for coworkers and customers
