RB-Ware is building next-generation autonomous welding and metal-fabrication robots. Our no-code, cobot welding systems are already deployed across Korea, Europe, Australia, and the United States—and we’re now expanding our AI and autonomy team to accelerate development of our next-generation platform.

We combine robotics , computer vision , machine learning , and sensor fusion to address the global shortage in fabricators and make welding automation ultra-accessible. If you want to work on real robots, and real industrial problems—this role is for you.

1. Autonomous Welding / Robotics Software Development

  • Design software architecture for autonomous welding robots
  • Implement coordinate transformations, motion control pipelines, and multi-sensor fusion
  • Develop perception modules for seam detection, feature extraction, 3D geometry understanding
  • Build path-generation and weld-planning algorithms for real production environments

2. Computer Vision & Machine Learning

  • Develop CV pipelines using cameras, LiDAR, structured-light 3D sensors, weld cameras, etc.
  • Train and deploy ML models for detection, segmentation, geometry reconstruction, and tracking
  • Work on real-time inference and optimization to run on industrial hardware
  • Contribute to R&D of autonomous corrective behaviors (arc-sensing, adaptive control, etc.)

3. System Integration for Robotics

  • Integrate algorithms with cobots, welding machines, and sensors
  • Build and maintain real-time data streams and synchronization frameworks
  • Deploy code to production systems used by customers worldwide
  • Work closely with UI/UX developers (Flutter) to define APIs and data interfaces

4. Testing, Experimentation & Field Validation

  • Run experiments with real robots, welders, and test jigs
  • Diagnose performance issues, improve stability, and optimize for latency
  • Mentor junior developers and help shape RB-Ware’s growing autonomy team

What We’re Looking For

  • 5+ years of software development experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in CS, Robotics, EE, or related fields
  • Strong proficiency in Python or C++
  • Solid understanding of 3D geometry, matrices, coordinate frames, kinematics
  • Experience with real-time systems , socket/network communication , or sensor data processing
  • Hands-on experience in robotics or hardware-control projects
  • Ability to collaborate in English with global team members
  • Ability to mentor junior engineers and lead feature-level development

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with 3D sensors (LiDAR, stereo, structured light, depth cameras)
  • Experience with industrial protocols (Modbus/TCP, CAN, OPC-UA, etc.)
  • Background in machine vision, SLAM, or motion planning
  • Experience with Isaac Sim , ROS/ROS2 , or similar robotics simulation tools
  • Previous startup experience or ownership of end-to-end product modules

Why Join RB-Ware?

  • Work on real robots solving real manufacturing problems
  • Build core technology that impacts global metal fabrication
  • Fast-moving, engineering-driven culture
  • Direct ownership of modules shipped to dozens of companies worldwide
  • Global team with deployments across Asia, Europe, and North America

If you want to build AI-enabled robots that perform real industrial work—and ship your code to manufacturing floors around the world—we’d love to meet you.
