Role Overview

We are seeking a hands-on Senior Sales Engineer to drive revenue growth by leveraging technical expertise in corrosion protection combined with strong business development skills. The primary focus will be on converting our existing pipeline AND developing new opportunities in key industrial sectors.

The ideal candidate is a technical hunter who can independently manage the entire sales cycle, from technical presentations to site inspections and contract closure.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Business Development (70%)

  • Achieve monthly/quarterly sales targets by actively pursuing and converting opportunities in the existing pipeline
  • Secure 2-3 new project wins per quarter across utilities, EPC contractors, oil & gas, and marine sectors, etc.
  • Build and manage relationships with key decision-makers (project managers, engineering heads, maintenance heads)
  • Conduct product demonstrations and trial application oversight

Technical & Application Support (30%)

  • Conduct site visits to assess corrosion challenges and recommend ZINGA® solutions
  • Deliver technical presentations to client engineering teams
  • Provide pre- and post-sales technical support, including application monitoring (feedback, site reports, and client performance evaluations)
  • Collaborate with contractors to ensure proper surface preparation and application

KPIs (First 6 Months)

  • Revenue Generation: Achieve Rs. 15-20 million in closed sales
  • Pipeline Conversion: Secure 4-6 new project orders from existing pipeline
  • Client Engagement: Conduct 15+ technical presentations and 25+ site visits
  • Market Penetration: Add 8-10 new qualified opportunities to pipeline monthly

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical/chemical/Metallurgy Engineering
  • 5-8 years in technical sales of industrial coatings, paints, or corrosion protection systems
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets in B2B industrial sales
  • Strong understanding of corrosion mechanisms and protective coating standards
  • Willingness to travel extensively (50%+ time at client sites)

Preferred

  • Experience with key verticals: utilities, oil & gas, ports & shipping, infrastructure
  • Knowledge of ISO 12944, NACE, or SSPC standards
  • Existing relationships with EPC contractors or large industrial clients in Pakistan

COMPENSATION STRUCTURE

  • Fixed Base Salary: Rs. 150,000 – Rs. 200,000/month (based on experience)
  • Performance Bonus: 10% on all sales brought in between a certain number
  • Accelerator Bonus: 15% on all sales brought in exceeding a certain benchmark
