Senior Sales Engineer

Alpha Control Instruments Pvt. Ltd. is a leading industrial automation company which offers Turnkey automation solutions for Sugar, Power, Refinery, Distillery, Cement and Metal plants. Using the most advance solutions with ABB Drives (AC/DC), Distributed Control Systems (DCS) and Instrumentation packages.

Our Head Office and Manufacturing Unit is in Lucknow and another office is in NCR region. We are opening our another office in Pune, exact location is not confirmed.

For our new office in Pune, We are looking for an experienced Sr. Sales Engineer.

As a Senior Sales Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth by combining your technical expertise with strong sales acumen. You will work closely with customers to understand their automation needs, propose tailored solutions, and support the sales cycle from initial contact to post-sale support.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or B. Tech. degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, Control & Instrumentation or Industrial Engineering.
• 5+ years of experience in technical sales or application engineering in industrial automation.
• Strong knowledge of automation products and systems (e.g., PLCs, HMIs, SCADA, motion control, robotics).
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in a B2B environment.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Ability to translate complex technical concepts into business value propositions.
• Willingness to travel to customer sites and industry events.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with major automation brands (e.g., Siemens, Rockwell, ABB, Schneider Electric).
• Familiarity with Industry 4.0, IIoT, and digital transformation initiatives.
• CRM proficiency (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).
• Multilingual capabilities are a plus.
